Our festival includes everything you need to celebrate fall: food, friends, fun, and non-stop entertainment! This family friendly event offers something for everyone. Our list of entertainment and bands is quite impressive including the music of The Robert Perry Band and Doc Holiday. For the kids, there is an endless array of fun things to do – face painting, games, a photo booth, and Professor Longhair just to name a few. For the adults, there’s the quaint wine garden and beer tent and the musical talents of the Tamburitzans and The Gary Moore Band. Don’t forget the annual 5K Run for Octoberfest. This event is growing in popularity! You can walk or run in the event. Registration begins at 8:00a.m. and the race starts at 9:00a.m.
Don’t forget the auction on Saturday beginning at 10:30a.m. If you like sports memorabilia, tools, or unusual collectors items, you will find them at the auction. The Family Style Chicken Dinner on Sunday from 11:00a.m. to 4:00p.m. is just one example of the fantastic food you will enjoy at our festival.
Come out and spend the day or weekend with us celebrating Fall at the Octoberfest!!!
The St. Michael Octoberfest would not be the annual success it is without the generosity of people volunteering their time. Help is always needed and very much welcome with the kids’ games, chicken dinner, snack stand, tickets, trash cleanup, etc. Just not able to fit one more thing in your schedule but still want to lend a hand? No problem! Donations are always welcome whether it be an item for the auction, time spent helping out at the Kids’ Midway Games, or monetary to help off-set an expense. For more information or to volunteer, please contact the church office at (618) 635-3140 or firstname.lastname@example.org, or Liz Burns at email@example.com. Thank you!

Doc Holiday Reeks of Honky Tonk
Doc Holiday, based out of the St. Louis metro area is a band that can’t be labeled. The members of the band are a group of seasoned veterans that bring their unique sound to every show they play. After years of playing on the road, Ray Warren, former member of Ricky Skaggs’ band, Kentucky Thunder, formed Doc Holiday in his hometown area of St. Louis, to be a band that puts on a show! He knew he wanted former “You can be a Star” winner, Dave Spier to be a part of the group. Dave and Ray had worked together off and on over the past 29 years. Dave brings solid Bass guitar and award winning vocals to the group. Dave’s son, Colin Spier, lays down the beats as the group’s drummer. Glenn Sies, from Staunton, is the group’s Lead Guitarist and fills out the high harmonies & vocals.
Ray’s many years on the road playing with the likes of Ricky Skaggs, Vince Gill and other Grand Ol Opry members, lets you know you will get real Country, but the band also brings hard rockin hits, new country and dance tunes with every show.
Doc Holiday is the Band to see ~ no matter what music your into!
We hope to see you at a show soon!

The Wine Garden is sure to bring out the true feeling of fall. This area is surrounded by a rustic white picket fence containing round tables and chairs. The wine is provided by a local wine expert and includes a hand selected assortment of whites and reds. We are confident this area of the Octoberfest will make even the newest wine drinker inspired to have a glass.
